Los Angeles is city 7/8 for this whirlwind trip!
City of Angels, like my angel coworker who picked me up from the airport. That was a nice contrast to the hellish view I took in of Los Angeles traffic. When we got to the LA office my team and I went on their recommendation to The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker for breakfast and the eggs benedict was divine. I think the lattes speak for themselves.
Tocaya Organica was a neat Mexican Organic restaurant, perfect for lunch. Get the guac. You won’t regret it.
After work I went to my hotel in Hollywood where they had a rooftop pool with a view. (Pinch me I must be dreaming, there’s no WAY this was $49). Right next door I tried StreetChurros which was a delicious fresh piping hot churro looped in soft serve. I’m drooling as I write this.
I made my way over to the LACMA Urban Light installation featured in the movie No Strings Attached at sunset for a great industrial view.
