Why it’s important to encourage vacation

HuffPost Travel posted an interesting and important article about the “vacation shaming” epidemic that occurs throughout America. “You’re taking another vacation?” “Didn’t you just go somewhere?” If you’ve ever been asked any of these questions, then you have been a victim of this epidemic. Travel offers so many benefits to an individual – increases happiness, health, creativity, and work-life balance – so instead of posing these questions, we should be encouraging people to take vacation. The next time someone comes back from vacation, instead ask, “what was your favorite part of the trip?”
